The Little Mercies Residency
I met The Little Mercies in May of 2025 at the South-East Regional Folk Alliance (SERFA). They are legends. I hosted them at Elsewhere Museum in Greensboro NC for a four day residency we worked on an EP, some music videos, and put on a show.

This was the first USA tour of the famed Chef Sanza of the Yeoville Dinner Club in Johannesburg, South Africa. It took place from Aug 6-Sept 9, 2025. I acted as the tour manager and sous chef, booking and coordinating 11 sold out dinners across the East coast.
The tour commenced in Chattanooga TN and carried on further South with three dates in Atlanta GA and one in Jackson MS. Then we went North with two dinners in NYC NY, one in Boston MA and Baltimore MD. The tour concluded with two nights in Greensboro NC at the Elsewhere Museum.

Shot on location in New Bern, North Carolina. This is my 5th project with Kemari, a true visionary.
Ashley Virginia always manages to convince me to attend a folk music conference. This time it was the South East Regional Folk Alliance in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was awarded an Official Showcase slot and asked me to come fiddle along. I convinced Liam Trawick to join us and we had a hoot and a holler! There was even a tornado…
Met some awesome folks, including The Little Mercies, and Annick Odom, an incredible musician, and storyteller. Check out this video we made 12hrs after we met.

One of my stand out videos this year. Michael Clapp was developing (and now opened), Proxy, a gallery space in downtown Greensboro NC. We worked together to visualize the space and presented it a Shark Tank event.
Every once in a while I go on tour. This tour was in Florida.

Production for Ngoma: Song of the Universe, a short film written by Sisonke KHNYSA Papu, filmed on location in the Eastern Cape, SA. I served as the cinematographer for this project.
Production for the Black Wall Street LLC mini-doc. The story is about the equitable redevelopment of a disenfranchised neighborhood in Greensboro NC.
…and sometime you have to go out into the country and make some Rooster Recycling commercials.
The film is a coming to age story that explores spirituality and indigenous knowledge. It is set to release in 2026.
Multi-cam set up for Joe Troop’s solo set. One of the most virtuosic banjo players I know. He has an incredible way of taking in culture and expressing it through his unique art form.
Started working at the Yeoville Dinner Club in February. Began planning our first American tour.
I went to visit Chef Sanza during my trip to South Africa. We stayed up through the nights scheming ideas and planning moves. At the end of the week we hosted a Valentines dinner where I captured some footage which served as our marketing materials.

I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Emanuel Wynter. As a fellow violinist I have a lot of respect for him and how he is able to achieve a sound and style I could only dream of.
